After getting myself depressed yesterday (see why here deidara-clone.deviantart.com/j…), I needed to draw something. It isn't the greatest in the world, but it's something.
I totally SUCK at drawing Whales >.< Yes, to the left is the 52-Hertz Whale, which is neither part of the Fin Whales or the Blue Whales; I looked them up and they seem somewhat similar. I wanted to include myself as my Snivy Persona but, I felt that didn't feel right, and wanted to use another aquatic animal to represent myself. I looked up "dolphins" and came across the Dusky Dolphin but uh...yeah, that little guy isn't quite me. Scrolling through the Wikipedia Dolphin page, I saw the Orca and remembered "oh yeah, Orcas are actually dolphins, not whales". So I ran with that.
THESE ARE NOT DRAWN TO SCALE.
Seriously though, I empathize/sympathize with the 52-Hertz Whale in a big way. Always alone, without someone by our side... You can read more in the journal provided above.

Actually, the claim that orcas are dolphins, but not whales, is somewhat incorrect. They are whales. This is a common and misleading half-truth that a lot of people throw around on the internet. Orcras are indeed dolphins, but they are also whales at the same time. In fact, all dolphins are whales, though a lot of people don't think of them as such. Whales (cetacea) represent a clade above that of dolphins (delphinidae), and all dolphins are included in it.
