Lol, no seriously, that's basically my life story right there.  But it's fine; I got Mephisto anyway XD  But in all seriousness, Bulat is just an awesome character, from the first time you meet him (in his armor) in episode 1, to, well...up to where I currently am in the anime -_-;  Yeah, watching it on Toonami, and I think we're 4 or 5 eps in, and Bulat easily and quickly ended up being my favorite character, even more quickly than Leone did (she's like a good second).  I find him highly entertaining and very funny, even going so far as to break the fourt wall in such a way, it leaves me asking why other animes haven't done so yet.  I'm talking about when Tatsumi is on a "mission" (hahaha) I think with Mine (god I hate her), and he finds posters of some of the Night Raid members.  One of them he doesn't recognize right away, because Bulat had changed his hair style after he left the...the uh....wooooow, good memory, Ryuu.  After he left the military or whatever; otherwise he looked like a very dark-haired Dante (I think more muscular too).  When Tatsumi's told it's Bulat, he pictures him as he is now, Bulat winks with a couple stars popping out of the wink, and they somehow break barriers and bounce off Tatsumi's head XD  I f*cking died!  Out of the animes I've seen, I can't recall a moment where something like that ever happened!  That alone won him the top spot XD

So yeah, Bulat's just awesome.  He's that kind of character I'd wanna hang out with on a daily basis, though I think I'd need to carry a rolled up magazine with me; he's too easily excited, lol:
Bulat: By the way, you can either call me "Handsome" or "Bro".
Tatsumi: Okay, Bro!
Bulat: *super excited* YES!
